Nice warm-up! It's a great pattern to build on, too. Sometimes, probably because of cultural differences, I have a hard time understanding the patterns and an even harder time introducing them to my student. They were always used to everthing in 4, 8 or 16 counts. You've opened my eyes to some great new ideas!
